Dante Marioni contacted Jeff with a request. His favorite shears were cracked, corroded and re-welded multiple times. He had owned, and used them, since he was sixteen. Dante could not find a replacement pair. So…Jeff duplicated Dante's favorite.
In collaboration with Dante, Jeff made some improvements to the original design. The geometry of this new shear allows for quick opening (even with small hands) and large capacity. These shears are lightweight. We have replaced our Combination Shear with the Dante Diamond!
