Cane Cutter, the fine print

Base & vertical support are ½" & ¾" plate respectively.
Powdered coated.
Slides are linear bearings as used on CNC milling machines. Super smooth.
Eccentric is VERY heavy duty with 4" bearing.
Cutter blades are four sided, high impact carbide.
Hand wheel is 12" chrome cast iron.
Overall height 18", blade travel 1.5"
Grooved table is 2" wide. The length adjustment goes to about ¼" and as long as you like.
When using the cutter you rotate the blade down to contact the cane, back off about ½" and then rotate through to make the cut. It is not a continuous full rotation but short partial rotations. You can easily put 3, ½" canes in and cut all at once.

Cutting Edge Color Bar Cutter

After years of hearing, "when are you going to make a bar cutter". Well I finally did.

The cutter is very heavy duty. Would you expect less? It has three, "count-em 3", four sided, super hard, blades for years of trouble free cutting. Red powder coat.

Super simple operation. Just lift the handle and with a little force, come down on the bar. Massive weighted upper blade head.
